Basic rules

  1. Homologated harnessUse an FIA 8853-2016 harness, such as our ZAMP 6-point harness.
  2. Appendix JIn FIA events, the installation must comply with Appendix J (article 253).
  3. Intact strapsNever pierce, cut, or modify the straps. Avoid any contact with sharp edges.
  4. InspectionHave the installation checked by a professional or a technical scrutineer.
Validity: homologated harnesses have a limited shelf life. Check the date on the FIA label before each season and replace the harness after any significant impact.
